Charles Woodward Memorial Room
About
The Charles Woodward Memorial Room provides a silent study space in comfortable surroundings. Named for the father of the Library’s benefactor, Mr. P.A. Woodward it contains items of interest that include:
- Gobelin tapestries depicting the Masters of Spirit (on display) and Masters of Science
- Plaques listing pioneer physicians of British Columbia
- Exhibits that bring the history of science and medicine to the present. The current display contains surgical instruments and other medical artifacts. Display cases were provided by a grant from the Mr and Mrs P.A. Woodward’s Foundation
Information
Silent study located on the Main floor of the Woodward Library. Water in closed containers permitted.
